First, a series from 2010 of paintings on canvas in homage to Chac, the ancient rain god of life still being worshiped today in Mexico. These portraits of my Xiac follow in the tradition of artists for many millenia in celebrating water and life. Paintings from 2011 through 2013 create a high mixtura inspired by an implicit drive to explore and create anew. Works based on the ancient Mexica rain deities, Tlaloc and Atl.
